I built this case on the record for a decade: in 2015 dark social and Amazon proved data beats ads, in 2018 Cambridge Analytica proved your data swings elections, in 2020 The Social Dilemma made you the product, in 2022 ChatGPT ate the scraped internet. Now the mine gets priced, and more than money is at stake: your dignity, your freedom, your right to be unscored.

The money trail: Big Tech spends $650 billion+ on AI in 2026, 33+ data acquisitions worth $157B+ in 2025, Meta buying 49% of Scale AI, 4,000 brokers holding thousands of points on billions of people. Data brokers are the arms dealers.

The control trail: China scores citizens, and Vietnam and Thailand ran the first pilots in Asia. Thailand tested a retail CBDC in 2024, Vietnam enforced the digital wallet with biometric ID and closed 86 million bank accounts that did not comply, 43% of all bank accounts in the country, overnight. Europe wires digital ID to the wallet next. When software becomes law, privacy does not erode, it ends.

My forecast: human data hits $1 trillion per year by 2030, and this decade decides which society it funds. My warning, on record since 2015: never accept digital slavery, no matter what. Know your data, guard it, demand payment for it, and refuse every system that scores you. Your data is your leverage, use it or lose it.
